The view from my window

Will you show us what you see when you look up from the screen?

I don't know if this really counts as a meme, but maybe it does. I'm inviting you to post a picture of your view, and in the caption ask your readers to do the same. No tagging is necessary. I'm curious to see what you see, and to see what happens.

Lovely photo. I'll try to do one tomorrow, but my view isn't very interesting.

I'd like to post a picture of my view from the office, where I seem to spend most of my time, but I'm afraid it would instantly give away my exact location (at least to anyone who lived or worked in the area).

Maybe I could post a picture from a window in my house. If I'm ever there when it's actually light out.

No photo right now, but description:

I'm too short to see over my monitor. When I look all the way right, I can see out the kitchen window, but just enough to gauge the weather. On the dining room wall to my right is a quilted hanging my late grandmother made; I have matching throw pillows on my couch and just now b/c she's downsizing, my mom gave me the matching placemats.

To my left out the dining room window I can see the parking lot at Great Place Elementary fill up w/ teachers' cars; there's also some heavy equipment working on the new side entrance. It's right outside the principal's office; I imagine she's just thrilled spitless. Just to the left of my monitor is the foyer. In it hangs the photo my husband took at the local Arboreatum of the sun rising behind a lone oak in the middle of a prairie area as the morning mist was rising off the field. It was taken on color film, but is strictly black and gold. It won first place in a photography club contest at Extremely Large Airplane Manufacturer back in the 80s.

Oh, dear. My lazy butt is usually parked on the couch with the laptop, so I look up to a direct view of the T.V. (and yes...sometimes it is on). Not too appealing.

Hey! I recognize that view! I won't be specific but I bet you see your share of hawks flying around your property!

Nutmeg, I'm not a birder, but I thought it was warblers that people around here got excited about.

Camera, I feel like I know your house now!

Any pictures, y'all?
