Time lapse
These are all the view from my backdoor. (Phantom, there's the witch hazel.) I would like to pretend that our dogs knock the bench over on a daily basis, but no, we just don't bother dealing with things like that til it's warm enough to actually be outdoors.

Oooo, I like the shape of it. Still trying to decide between witch hazel and another hazelnut...
The one thing I would change about this tree (or bush, or whatever) is its color. I've seen copper ones, which I think I'd prefer to the forsythia color of this one.
Letting the grass go to clover (in the front yard, moss in the back) is my plan. It's environmentally friendly, right???
