Voila

Yes, they are faint and could equally well be interpreted as Highland cattle, but the point is that I figured out the scanner.

I think they are really lovely, and I would be happy to herd them anytime.

Perhaps you'll consider water buffalo next?

Phantom, Ha!

I looked at them and thought "Highland cattle" first, but that could be because I saw a herd of Highlands yesterday afternoon and they're on my mind.

Maybe if I drew a quarter in there for scale?

Having done a little research (a very little), I think the way to draw a water buffalo is to draw a yak that doesn't look like a Highland cow.

Jeni, welcome! I don't suppose there's any evidence that the yak is a hybrid species?

Jeni, how can this be? Google reader says your blog has no feed.

Will they be coming back home after grazing at phantom's?

PPB, they have permanently settled at Phantom's. It is true that the grass in the Rhyming Family yard is getting a little long. We may start over with gnus.

Thanks Scriv!

Today, I've been thinking that if I ever run out of material for written posts I can just start putting up cartoon farm animals of the continents.

I have no idea if my blog has a feed or not. Do I have to put one in there on purpose? I am so tech-unsavvy.

Lovely!

Now I've got that song running through my head:

"Everybody's got a water buffalo;
Mine is fast but yours is slow. Where we get them, I don't know, but everybody's got a water buffalooooooooo."
