Oh my. You are farther south than we are. I am salivating at the sight of that there fig. Funnily enough, I took a very similar photo last fall at my brother's house in LA - but there was Grey Elephant perched in the tree along with the figs.
Magpie, these are even late this year! The variety is Hardy Chicago; could be it ripens earlier?
