Jody, I think for a long while I was too busy to understand how much the labor contributed to the PTSD. I mean, the NICU would have done plenty all by itself, and without the NICU the impact of the 75 hours would have been very different.
It wasn't until I started putting the NICU story into some kind of shape that I started looking at the labor trauma more directly.

My longest 37 hours. And she is 14 soon and I still haven't forgotten.
